Preparing Your Car for Inspection

You don’t need to make your car look perfect. The most useful preparation is to make its condition easy to assess and its history easy to understand.

Gather the basics

• Vehicle registration and Emirates ID.
• Both keys, if you have them.
• Service invoices and maintenance records.
• Details of outstanding finance and previous repairs.

Make the car easy to inspect

Remove personal belongings and give the car a basic clean. Bring any warning lights or mechanical concerns to our attention. Avoid spending money on cosmetic repairs solely for the inspection before discussing whether they are likely to affect the offer.

Be clear about the history
